Avenro respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It is written to meet our obligations under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
This page matches the Privacy Policy shown at checkout. If you ever see a difference between them, this text and the checkout version are intended to be identical — please let us know at contact@avenro.co so we can correct it.
What we collect
- Information you give us: name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, and order details when you make a purchase or contact support.
- Payment information: processed directly by our payment providers. Avenro never sees or stores your full card number.
- Information collected automatically: device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed and referring site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Why we collect it
We use your information to process and ship your order, send order and shipping confirmations, respond to support requests, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations, and — where you have opted in — send marketing emails.
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary, with:
- Shopify, which hosts our store and processes orders;
- our fulfilment partners and shipping carriers, so your order can be delivered;
- payment processors, to take payment securely;
- analytics and advertising providers, including TikTok and Meta, which may receive information about your visit through cookies and tracking pixels.
We do not sell your personal information.
International transfers
Your information may be stored or processed outside Canada, including in the European Union and by suppliers in other countries, where privacy laws may differ. We take reasonable steps to ensure it stays protected.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfil the order and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Email contact@avenro.co and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
Our store uses cookies to keep your cart working, remember preferences, and measure how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect how the store works.
Children
Our store is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
